Walk With the Stars: A Day of Unity, Awareness, and Impact
Sisters of Solidarity hosted our annual Walk With the Stars Mental Health Walk at the beautiful Reddy Creek Park, and the day couldn’t have been more powerful. Surrounded by support, and strength, we gathered as a community to break the stigma surrounding mental health—especially within Black and underserved communities.

From the first step to the last, every moment was filled with purpose. Walkers came from all walks of life to show solidarity, honor loved ones, and advocate for healing and hope. There was laughter, heartfelt conversations, and an undeniable sense of togetherness that echoed through every trail.
OUR FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
In the months leading up to the event, we launched a community-wide fundraiser to support our mission. Beginning in March and culminating on the day of the walk, our campaign inspired donors, teams, and sponsors to step up for mental health awareness and support.
We’re proud to announce that together, we raised a total of $6,315!

- A portion of the proceeds has been donated to Black Male Therapist of Charlotte, an organization committed to increasing access to culturally relevant mental health care for Black men and boys.
- A portion will go directly toward hosting free mental health workshops for our community, ensuring that education, healing tools, and professional guidance are accessible to those who need it most.
- The remaining funds will allow us to continue to do meaningful work in the community
Every dollar contributed is a step toward healing and equity—and we’re incredibly grateful to all who gave.
