Bunny Tales and Sisterhood tales

This month, Sisters of Solidarity had the joy of partnering with our beloved sisters and brothers from Yashika, Genesis, and St. Paul for a heartwarming community Easter Egg Hunt! The event took place on April 12 at Druid Hill Park, where laughter, love, and unity filled the spring air.

The day was filled with smiles, encouragement, and a shared commitment to raising funds for kidney disease research, education, and patient support programs. As we walked, we were reminded of the importance of community and the difference we can make when we stand united. Whether it was by donating, participating in the walk, or cheering from the sidelines, our supporters played an essential role in making this event a success.

From the youngest egg-hunters to the elders cheering them on, the day was a beautiful expression of community spirit. Families gathered to enjoy delicious food, fun games, and prizes that brought smiles to every face. But beyond the festivities, this event reminded us of the power of connection — when we come together, we create moments that matter.

A huge thank you to all our volunteers, organizers, and participants. Your energy and love made this event truly special. We’re grateful to walk in solidarity with our community and can’t wait to gather again soon.
